Main connection methods of optical fiber

Connect them to the connection head and insert the fiber socket. The connection head loses 10 to 20 percent of the light, but it makes it easy to reconfigure the system.

Mechanical methods can be used to connect them. The method is to place one end of the carefully cut optical fiber into a casing and clamp it. The fiber can be adjusted by the junction to maximize the signal. It takes about five minutes for the mechanical combination to complete, and the loss of light is about 10 percent.

Third, the two fibers can be fused together to form a solid connection. The fusion method is about the same as a single fiber optic fiber, but there is a bit of decay. For each of these three connections, the junction has a reflection, and the energy of reflection interacts with the signal.

Optical fiber using the matters needing attention:

1, fiber optic jumper at the ends of the module to send and receive the wavelength of the light must agree, that is to say the ends of the optical fiber must be the same wavelengths of light module, a simple way to distinguish is the color of light module.

2. In general, short-wave light module USES multi-mode fiber (orange fiber), long wave light module USES single mode fiber (yellow fiber), to ensure the accuracy of data transmission.
