ACE Submarine Cable System The Second Phase Of Construction Will Be Started

Recently, the second phase of the ACE submarine cable system connecting Africa and Europe was officially launched, namely, Sao Tome and Principe to South Africa.

According to CST, the second phase of the ACE project, which connects Sao Tome and Principe to South Africa, has been officially launched, which is the southern part of the West African coast, via the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia and Angola.

The ACE submarine cable system is an international submarine system connected to Africa and 18 countries, covering 17,000 km in length, including France, Portugal, Canary Islands, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe.

It is expected that the second stage of the ACE submarine cable system will be commercially available in the first quarter of 2019.
